Not able to install themes from computer

Topics: Writing themes

I am using Orchard v1.9.1.0
I am not able to install themes from local computer and every time i try to install theme an error comes which is mentioned below -

Package uploading and installation failed: There was an error installing the requested package. This can happen if the server does not have write access to the '~/Modules' or '~/Themes' folder of the web site. If the site is running in shared hosted environement, adding write access to these folders sometimes needs to be done manually through the Hoster control panel. Once Themes and Modules have been installed, it is recommended to remove write access to these folders.

Earlier it was working fine but i don't know what happened suddenly the above error started coming.
I have also tried creating new Feed Url - ,
but still same problem persist.

This is very frustrating, please help me :(

You must enable the directory write rights for the Themes and Modules folder for your application users.

Are you trying to install modules in a locally running Orchard instance, or on a hosted environment? Do you have FTP access? If so, you could extract the theme folder from the NuGet paclage yourself and upload that folder to the Themes directory. Perhaps the error log files show ore details as to why installing packages uploaded from your local computer fails.
