Can i change orchard tables schema from dbo to our own schema name? i saw the db connection string is in settings.txt file in appdata folder. But i couldnt find any specification on schema name.
Also can i change connection string from settings.txt to web.config.

You can change the schema name if you want. You can either provide the logon credentials as part of the connection string, or assign a Windows account to the IIS apppool that is associated with a SQL login, which in turn is mapped to the desired schema. Nothing to do from Orchard's perspective to make this work.

Regarding changing the connection string from being read from Settings.txt to web.config, I recommend creating a GitHub issue for that if one doesn't already exist.

So to actually get this to work, you need to make sure that the database user has not privs on the dbo schema. Even if the default for that user is a different schema it will write to dbo if that user has permissions to do so.
