I am happy to introduce myself to this group as I am new to Orchard and am using 1.8, coming from B2EVOLUTION so bear with me a little.

What I would like to know is the following.
1) Can I get view count of my blog posts of how many people read it, e.g. 120, 180, etc. ?

At the moment, I cannot get any feedback on what my readers are finding interesting

2) Can I set it up so my posts are displayed in full rather than just a few lines?
3) What is the best way of uploading documents, images and PDF into the blog posts?
4) Using windows live writer into Orchard; in Facebook, I get &nbsp. How do I stop the &nbsp?

The only way not is in Live writer check for them and edit them out. It is a pain.

5) Anyway of getting Orchard to tell me that a comment is waiting approval, what happens now is unless I go into the dashboard, I have no idea that someone has commented.

Thanking you in advance

1) yes, use view count module
https://gallery.orchardproject.net/List/Modules/Orchard.Module.NGM.ContentViewCounter

you have to install Votin module as well and add the part to blog post...

2) you can customize templates in yout theme:
http://docs.orchardproject.net/Documentation/Alternates
http://weblogs.asp.net/bleroy/orchard-list-customization-first-item-template

3) you can use media library

4) sorry, I do nto use LiveWriter :)

5) I think you can use workflow for that: you can create a new activity that sends you an email when a comment is placed.
Go on modules and activate Workflows and Email if you have not did yet.

Happy Orchading...

The View Counter deadlocks? It shouldnt... it reads off of the Voting module.=

I will investigate as I wrote this.
