I have some kind of registration from created with the Orchard OForms module. There is an input for email address.
Is there a way to send a confirmation email to this email address obtained when user submits the form?

Thanks

Have you tried using the {Email} global variable in the "To" field? Or set up a workflow?

Not sure either would work but worth investigating--probably why there is the Custom Message and URL redirect functionality

Hi pavelvolek,
I know it's an old post, but I'm facing with the same issue. Did you find a way to send emails with tokens or did you rewrite any .cs's? OFormMessagesAlteration.cs seems pretty promising....

Oforms seems to be deprecated

Content Types and Workflows are now used instead.

Orchard.ContentForms was recently deprecated as well in favor of the new Dynamic Forms module, which works in conjunction with Workflows to send a confirmation email. More details here: http://www.ideliverable.com/blog/customizing-user-registration-and-login-with-dynamic-forms-and-workflows
