WebMatrix AND VS2012

We have an environment where some team members have VS2012 and others have WebMatrix.
Is there any way they can collaborate on Orchard websites?

It's clearly not possible to use the WebMatrix download with VS2012, but is it possible to use the VS2012 version with WebMatrix?

Also, any sort of documentation about how to deploy automatically from a build server when working in a team environment would be appreciated. You've clearly done a lot of work for Azure deployments - hats off to you - but we aren't using Azure.
There's been a few threads posted asking the same thing, going back over a year, but still no documentation - and the "build config" links that were occasionally posted no longer work.

You can use any text editor, including WebMatrix, if you are ready to compile the core and framework from the command-line. In general, I'd say get the proper tool for the job. If you are going to do any serious development, just get VS. It will cost you more to pay people to work on inadequate tools.
