Hi there,
yesterday I was building an order form for a client and stumbled across some problems.
I need to place some editable content between form fields, such as lottery announcements and legal stuff.

This content needs to be inside the form, so placing it after or before the form via widgets is not an option. In the first run I completed it with writing alternates and/or abusing the hint fields. Is there any other way i missed to accomplish this? My client has to be able to edit this in the backend, so the alternates are also no option in the long run.

Best regards

I'm afraid not, unless maybe you write a custom field type who's editor render as labels instead of input controls.
If it's primarily about enabling the client to edit the content, you could consider working with an alternate, which uses an Html Helper I wrote as part of a content placeholder module to render named content items.

Alright, thanks for your reply. I gonna check out your module then.
Maybe this is something that should be implemented into one of the next versions.
