It was working previously, version just before new media gallery.
png files are now seen as Text/html and trigger a 404 error
I have tried to add the mime type image/png in the media web.config folder but now I get a 500...
No change to my code, working before and working locally on IIS Express.
Any idea welcome. ???

I suspect the web deploy because it's working locally ?
Have you any idea of the way mimeType are set on the web deploy ?
I have searched the code without any success.
The new library code seems to process normally png files when they are imported in the gallery but when imported, they don't display in gallery (even locally, may be the local successful display of png is just a matter of cache ? )

  accessPolicy 'Script' is to allow for a managed 404 page.
  <add name="StaticFile" path="*" verb="*" modules="StaticFileModule" preCondition="integratedMode" resourceType="File" requireAccess="Read" />
in MS AWZ this kills png's...
