Hey everyone,

I've seen people already posted this problem. I've justed installed an SSD disk and my pc runs super fast.

But running the project with debugging takes 30 seconds...

I've already tried disabling intellisense an setting the cpu prio and disabling ip6 but no changes.

I'm running windows 7

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Kind regards,

What if you launch the application with CTRL+F5 and then attach the debugger via Debug->Attach to process?
I have a SSD as well, and it's instant. In both cases.

Thanks for your fast response, this indeed a lot faster (10 seconds) Is there a way to script this? That the debugger always get's attached to the same process?

No problem.
I think Zoltan (piedone) wrote a macro for that, but I can't find it.
Perhaps if you do a search on Google you'll find something.

I wrote a blog post about this. It's lacking a few images but the general message is there.
It details how to use AttachTo to debug in IIS Express and you can find it at
