Videos: waiting for update from Channel 9. A couple are ready to be published.

Elections: 9 candidates, voting thread will be created this afternoon.

Zoltan made a presentation at his university and will start a course there, which would be the first in the world!

Demo of The Tree, the little tree navigation module for the admin I built this week-end. get it here: or on the gallery when it's there. Please fork it and contribute. Ideas: providers for tags, blogs (based on dates), alias, etc. Suggestion to also have an admin menu entry that points to a full admin page with the tree on the right-hand side, with maybe a setting to specify which you want. Also possible: GitHub-like navigation using the same infrastructure. The tree doesn't preserve state yet, that will be added using local storage.

Triage: ~22 new bugs, 24 1.6 active. TinyMCE now using inline popups, which fixes a bug with popup size, and is much nicer.

No RC this week, we're not at ZBB. Let's all try to help this week.

Sébastien gave a demo of how to submit patches and how to apply them.

2012 Voting is open for the #orchardcms Steering Committee election

Zoltán and Benedek made a presentation at their university, and we'll split the responsibility of giving the course as well.

You are absolutely right. Benedek doesn't get enough of the credit he deserves. Keep up the great work.

Are the videos online/published? If yes, could somebody publish the link. If no, any idea when channel 9 will publish them, especially the finished ones.

Channel 9 never answered our repeated demands. So we started uploading to YouTube:

Migrating to Orchard:

Oct 21, 2012 at 12:30 PM

Awesome. Any idea when the onestop modules, developed by the great orchard developers, will be available. I decided to use orchard for all my new projects. Awesome.

Oct 21, 2012 at 4:56 PM

the modules are on codeplex. just search for onestop.

Oct 21, 2012 at 8:39 PM

I can only speak of Onestop.Seo: for v1 this module is basically feature complete but the pre-release user tests are currently running, so there could be some UI changes in the near future for example.

Oct 21, 2012 at 10:07 PM

Similar with Onestop.Navigation. It's feature complete now, but there is still some testing to be done. Especially in a scenario where some existing navigation, built with core 1.5 tools, exists.

@Scienceapp These are really nice modules, indeed:) Great you're planning to play with those and we'd be more than happy to hear your feedback!

Can I use these modules? Or should I wait for the 1.6 release.

Furthermore, I saw that Onestop and the developers are developing other interesting modules. When will these be available?

And did someone already developed a CRM orchard module?

Oct 26, 2012 at 9:34 AM

@Scienceapp Feel free to use them, sure. But I'd wait for 1.6 to arrive officially - there is still a couple of things being worked on.
