I was looking at the new precompiled build target, and I was wondering if

1. It is useful to port it to the Azure build script

2. If 1. would work

If it is useful and it will work I don't mind porting it.

Yes and yes :)

I've done it for one of our projects, which is slightly different than the normal orchard (we use a different solution file) but changing it for the default orchard project shouldn't be hard.

My question is... how do I know it's working? What do I need to check for in the Azure package?

And how do I get it to you?

Timed it at 35 seconds for initial startup vs 50 using dynamic compilation, so a decent improvement. Still not the 6 seconds of my dev machine's IIS server though!

The timings used a very small instance.

This was using Sql Azure.

What would you like me to do with SQL?

I have a patch that fixes some references for the Azure project and also includes the precompiled target (and uses it for the ClickToBuildAzure.cmd build).

What do I do with it? :)
