I'm evaluating Orchard for a project for a client.  We need multi-tenant site support.  We plan to deploy on Azure.

I went through the write-up at and was successful in enabling the Module for multi-tenancy.

I'm using the 3 month Azure trial.  My default Orchard site is at  I created a second Tenant using the host name  This keeps failing since it can't resolve to the proper host.

I've read posts where others have been able to successfully host multi-tenant orchard sites in Azure.  How is this done?  What host name should I use if my default site is already on a subdomain in Azure?

You need to create new DNS entries (or edit your host file) to point the new tenants to the original site. Orchard does it's magic and you will be presented with the tenant if your URL has the same domain as the tenant was configured with.
