Hi, I have spent some time reading about Orchard and I am hoping somebody can advise whether they think it is a suitable solution for me.
I wish to design a system where;
1. A tenant can log in and add unstructured content such as articles etc (YES - ORCHARD LOOKS GOOD TO ME)
2. A tenant can log in and design a 'database' containing one or more 'datatables' with say 30 or 40 fields for storing information. They can then create new records and edit existing records in this database.
For example, lets say one of my tenants runs a site dedicated to Skyscrapers (tall buildings).
1. He will write articles about skyscrapers (Orchard-YES)
2. He should then be able to design a table to describe a skyscraper (height, number of floors, city, num toilets, construction company) etc . He needs then to be able to populate records for each of his skyscrapers he wishes to fill the database up
with. Finally he needs his audience to be able to browse them.
There are a few more complex issues I could mention but basically, Can Orchard do STEP 2 or would this be xtra complicated?
