Hi:

Can somebody please explain how the signin link is added to the homepage?

I've looked in the users module but carn't seem to find it there--the only thing is the admin menu's contents.

Any help apreciated.

Cheers

Sean.

That link is from the User.cshtml shape template. If you need some hard-coded link like that one probably the most simple way is to make it an HTML widget. If you don't want it to be user-editable, just edit your theme's templates.

Should a modified user.cshtml go in to the theme name/views folder?

Cheers

Yes, just drop it to the root of your theme's Views. The docs should tell more about that, e.g.: http://docs.orchardproject.net/Documentation/Accessing-and-rendering-shapes
