Handling Searching Functionality using Multitenancy

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on developing a site that will have three seperate areas, however I would like them all to fall under a single site in Orchard to be able to search all three of the sites using a universal search. So - I am debating the usage of Orchard's multitenancy as opposed to making a single site with three areas that would "appear" different but would all fall under the same site.

For example, the site will consist of three "subsites" (Site A (Default Site), Site B, and Site C) and I would like all three of these to share a header and footer, which shouldn't be an issue. I am just curious if multitenancy would be a suggested route to persue if I am trying to maintain the abililty to search between the sites.

If you need me to elaborate any further, or there are any specific questions I can answer I would be more than happy to.

Thanks,

Rion

That scenario excludes multi-tenancy.
