When my website users (i.e. members) logon to the site, I want them to be redirected to another member homepage (profile page). And if a member browses to the main homepage again he should be redirected to the member homepage.

When he logs off he will then have access to the public homepage.

How can I handle this situation?

The public homepage is a content item page (created via admin interface). I added the following script at the top of the custom layout page in my theme. I wonder if this is a good approach or not.

    if (Request.IsAuthenticated)

Thank you!

Thanks to Chris Bower who directed me to use an ActionFilter to accomplish this task.
