Hello, I would like to ask a question

Can´t the blog posts be localized individually? Why the blog is not filtering by the culture?

Is this expected or am I missing something?

Thanks

What do you mean filtering? Did you add the localization part to the blog post type?

Yes, i installed and enabled. Here are the full steps:

Create the blog with Default recipe.

Installed localization module.

added a new culture to the site.

Make sure blog post content type had localization part

create a new blog post.

create a new translation.

when i go to the blog both posts show up on the same page.

Im not sure if this is expected or not....

Because translating a page content is pretty easy.

You are right that it is not filtered by culture. It's one of several holes in the current localization story. To work around this, you'd have to implement your own controller.

Hi.

I have created a module that might solve some of these issues.

It's uploaded to the gallery: http://orchardproject.net/gallery/List/Modules/Orchard.Module.Ljosland.Localization

Is this still a problem in 1.7.2?

this is a two years old probem marked as a "hole" maybe something has been fixed.

Yes... I've downloaded and enabled it without luck!
