Adding a third-party module (.nupkg) to Azure installation

Hi again,

I'd like to install the Hierarchical Menu (http://orchardproject.net/gallery/List/Modules/Orchard.Module.Szmyd.Orchard.Modules.Menu/1.1.0) to my Azure installation.

Can you please give me some guidance in doing so? I don't have the source project for that module, so the instructions you posted for deploying Orchard with custom modules to Azure do not seem to apply.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If you install it locally on your dev machine, all the source files will be inside your Modules folder.

Thanks randompete

Installing the module would have been a bit more cumbersome, so I realized that the .nupkg is just a zip file and it does include the source.

I took the source from there, added it to my project as per the Orchard Azure instructions, then tweaked the csproj file manually to fix some compiler errors I was getting and then added the module's library dependencies to my own project dependencies.

It took several tries, but it seems to finally work fine!
