Can't modify Document.cshtml?

I am trying to make a new Theme. One change is to get rid of the Orchard favicon. In the SafeMode theme, Views/Document.cshtml, I tried deleting

    RegisterLink(new LinkEntry {Type = "image/x-icon", Rel = "shortcut icon", Href = Url.Content("~/modules/orchard.themes/Content/orchard.ico")});

But when I run, the <link/> is still injected. When I tried adding anything to that file by hand (an HTML comment), it does not show up.

So I tried copying Document.cshtml to my Theme's Views folder, and then none of the code portions seem to execute. E.g., <title>@Html.Title()</title> renders as <title></title> (but I can edit the static portion no problem).

Really confused about what I'm doing wrong :-/

Edit: Typos.

Nm, I found the Favicon module in the gallery. If you're reading this, thanks Bertrand.
