placement.info for editor shapes in theme does not override admin placement

description

current theme placement.info:
<Place Parts_Roles_UserRoles_Edit="Content:10"/>

is ignored once you edit the placement in Admin. The only way to make it work, is clicking "Restore" in the Edit Placement page.

Your theme isn't an admin theme is it?

No no, site theme

So it can't affect editor shapes because it's not even active when you're in the admin. I'm going to close this.

I didn't want them to be affected in admin. I used the BuildEditor on the frontend - this is related to the previous issue i opened, but i suppose this is a matter of discussion..

Even more: admin placement is meant to supersede placement files. Entirely by design.
