Welcome dashboard screen translations not picked up

description

I have translated a lot of keys lately, some does not sown on orchard site.

eg:
http://orchardproject.net/localize/Core/it-IT

I have just installed on a local test site (from latest orchard 1.6 source) and this key (all all the others long on same page...) does not show...
(all short one work fine, like titles)

key : Start by exploring the menu....
it is translated on site
it is on dowloaded po file
I see same problem is for it-it and fr-fr that have full translations of these
No error logged, no translations picked up

I have installed using:
install translation it-it.zip
using latest vandelay 1.4 Translation manager

Thisk is one of the keys that does not show

It seems that strings with " inside are not translated

I have narrowed the problem

String:
@"Hello ""World""" (valid verbatim string) does not match "Hello \"World\"" in po file.
(po file cannot contain verbatim string)
"Hello \"World\"" in view matches "Hello \"World\"" in po file.
So a quick solution is to avoid using verbatim string in views.
Another quick solution is to replace "" with ', in most cases this should work....
