Feature: Need a feature that would enable multiple features at a time, using checkboxes, from the feature screen?

That doesn't look like the same thing.

Well, it's a bit different, you have to save a profile first (for later use) and activate that (the motivation was similiar).
An other way to approach to this is to modify the Features page to work asynchronously. What do you think about that?
Or the way Sebastien implemented the ContentItemPermissions: display disabled checkboxes with the features' current state and others to change it, and then hit Save.

I don't see why we'd need it to work asynchronously: with dependencies, you already enable more than one feature at a time, so I don't see what the difficulty of this one would be. But I'm probably missing something.

Well, I just thought that the current method of enabling/disabling features could be improved a lot by not having to reload the page. Why I suggested it is that I think it's unnecessary to have two different pages on the admin UI where you can enable/disable features (the current and the new one with checkboxes), so the current one should be modified to be more user-friendly and faster.

Oh, I see, yes, doing ajax would make things easier, but I would prefer a checkbox approach so that I can fire it and let it run in the background instead of having to baby-sit it through each feature and wait.
