The 1.7 release is a big step in the right direction. There's still lots of bugs in 1.7, and I'll probably give 5 stars on 1.7.1 release when many of these are fixed. I can't see myself working with any other CMS in the future - I certainly don't want to anyway!

Many, many bug fixes. Small improvements all over the place. And a couple of major features. All in all, a strong release. Thanks!

Still new to this upgrade and while I haven't run any benchmarks it just feels faster and more responsive overall. Great job orchard team!

How about to refresh the various docs for installing, upgrading Orchard? I installed Orchard today from the Microsoft Web Platform Installer and this was still version 1.6. So, after installation I have to read virtually hundrets of old documents related to versions of ancient times. Even the few information on Orchards website for upgrading Orchard to version 1.7 are outdated.

congratulations, though i'm not using Orchard for any real projects but i look at it very closely. Can't wait to see what it can do in v2.0. I believe it needs a bit easier to manage for end users who know nothing about the tech.

Very useful, well-architected CMS, helpful developers, still a bit rough around the edges. Looking forward to 1.7.1.

This is by far the best update to Orchard yet. Great work to the Orchard team, keep it up.

I express my thanks to the developers of the project Orchard. What you are doing is truly a priceless gift for novice developers. I tested a lot of different CMS, but stopped on Orchard. I hope you still surprise newcomers new features of CMS. I want to wish all the best to everyone who is not in place. thank you
