I'm new to Orchard, so bear with me.

I've tried to install this theme in both Visual Studio 2013 and 2015 and my solution no longer builds: "The type or namespace name 'PJS' could not be found".

What am I missing?

Which Orchard version are you using?
From where do you downloaded the theme? Gallery, Github repo?
Pay attenttion to .net target version in PJS project and compare it to .net target version in other orchard core module.
(They should be the same).
And the same for references to third party libraries.

Thanks for your reply.

On the same day (Monday) I:
  1. Cloned Orchard from - the master branch
  2. Opened the solution via Orchard.sln in the src destination
  3. After setting up the site/database I installed the theme via the admin/themes page locally
  4. Applied the theme - at which point the application broke
I did not install any additional tools - this was the first and only thing I tried. I tried first in VS2015, and then in 2013, with the same result.

I successfully installed and applied other themes - I'm currently using 'TheBootstrapTheme'

Should the above steps just work, or am I missing something?

Do you receive any error in the browser or is there any error in your log?

I've just had and resolved this error
  1. Orchard told me in the dashboard that it couldn't find a reference to System.DataSet,Extensions - I removed the reference
  2. Orchard's logs told me it couldn't resolve a reference to system.web.entity - I removed that reference also
Theme now works :)

I couldn't get to the dashboard with this theme installed.

It seems this theme has some serious issues, so I'm avoiding it.
