Dutch (or any) localization, keep admin menu in English

Is it possible to use localization and keep the admin menu in English? I've added Dutch as my default site culture, but I prefer to have the admin menu in English.

Out of the box, no. Default culture is used throughout the whole site.

But you could easily change that behavior by implementing your own, simple ICultureSelector (take a look at eg. SiteCultureSelector implementation) that would return en-US culture when you are in admin panel. You can test if you're currently in admin by using AdminFilter.IsApplied(requestContext) method.
