Does anyone know if there would be a way of easily achieving data filtering like the following:
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/grid/filter-multi-checkboxes or http://isotope.metafizzy.co/filtering.html in Orchard? This is kind of urgent since I need to do it, import data, and write a report on the implementation in 14 hours. I am not a stranger to programming C# Asp.Net MVC applications but I don't have any front end experience, this is why I'm thinking it might be easier to do with Orchard.

This is the data that I need to filter: http://www.filedropper.com/twoweekproglist

Possible queries :
What (in a given category/brand/..) do we have clips for?
What... is dubbed and/or signed?
What programmes are about money and politics?
What programmes are about music and politics?
Any query might also be "Are there any..." or "How many..."

Any tips or suggestions are appreciated.

I've thoroughly searched available modules and read several discussions on forums for the past 3 hours and couldn't find anything useful.

If you have 14 hours and are new to Orchard then don't do it in Orchard, really. It's possible in Orchard but there is no module for it out there AFAIK so you have to build it yourself which is very similar to how you'd do it in standard MVC. However, if you want to store data in Orchard you need to use Orchard's services, but for that 14 hours is too short.
