Is anyone else experiencing a problem with orchard workflows emails triggered by timers sending thousands of emails per workflow?
I have a project that triggers a custom workflow activity with a timer that checks the status of a content item every 24 hours. If the status has not changed, it sends an email to the owner to attend to that item. It correctly sends the notification email after
the specified time period, but occasionally - the workflow goes crazy and literally sends thousands of copies of the same email. I can't find any errors in the Orchard error logs and it's an intermittent issue, so I'm unable to find the cause of the problem.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
