Hello,

I'm using Orchard 1.8 and would like a Module for SEO Metatags. Vandelay SEO 1.0 shows up as obsolete. Which one should I use and can I get it through the Orchard Gallery?

Thanks

You could try the OneStop SEO module? https://bitbucket.org/onestop/module_onestop_seo

Have one that we use at Hellocomputer. Will submit it this week.

Vandelay SEO site points to this other site but that page does not open:
http://orchardproject.net/gallery/List/Modules/Orchard.Module.Vandelay.Industries
Does anyone know the updated page URL?

Jetski, do I need to first get the entire code and build it locally or is there an easier way to install the onestop_seo module? The download option on that onestop_seo link you gave actually downloads the code base.

Thanks

If you're simply looking to add meta-tags to your content items then the SEO feature in the Vandelay module will do the trick. We use it on almost all our sites.

You can find the 1.8 package here: https://gallery.orchardproject.net/List/Modules/Orchard.Module.Vandelay.Industries

And to answer your second question, if you download the source for a module, just drop the whole thing in the Orchard.Web/Modules directory to install it. Orchard should then recognize it and allow you to enable it's features.
