Where do you install Orchard?

I know this is probably a stupid question but here goes. Do you install Orchard on a server? I'm guessing it should be on an internal server with IIS. Or does it install on the client machine? Our programmers will be using Visual Studio for coding the website so only the webmaster will be using Orchard to manage content. Thanks!

Obviously, to make the web application available on the internet it should be on a server.

You can set it up in your development machine with Visual Studio to develop, and then deploy it to the server to manage and add content.

Besides that, you can also just setup Orchard on your server, and then use stuff like the command tool or just text editors to create modules and/or themes.
