Hiding Blog Comments With CSS

Topics: Customizing Orchard

Hi there,

I'm trying to add a single css style to my Orchard blog pages but not sure how, it seems overly complicated to achieve something so small.

I tried an HTML widget in the header of blog pages that contains my style sheet but it doesn't get rendered. How do I achieve this, the style I want to add is this,

.what { display: none }

I have the Vandalay custom css module, but where are the instructions on how to use it? I don't want to modify any code, I'm not using Orchard to retro fit things, I'm using it because I don't want to code my own site so adding css to selective pages is my best bet for the moment.

Just after I posted I found the solution. Using the Vandalay Classy module. I added a custom css part to my "Blog Post" content definition.

In this I put a link to a css file with this style in.

That is one way.

I use the Theme Editor to create a custom.css in my current Theme folder, and include that file in the _Layout.cshtml by using the View editor.
