I'm trying to setup blogs using the list module in 1.8. I see sipke demo this here http://youtu.be/i0s_JIiNP4c but it doesn't look like the final release, any ideas?

Should be pretty simple though, I am using it for other things and it works well.

You create a Content type and add Containable to it.
You create a new List of this new type.
You check "Admin Menu" in the list content item editor, and give a name and a position to appear in the admin menu like Blogs do.
This will create ONE blog.

You can also create another type of List by adding Container to it, and it will behave like a List creator, mimicking the Blog feature which lets you create as many blogs for blog posts as you want.

Thanks for that, looks like it works well :)

Have you had to handle displaying an Archive widget for the list? Was thinking I could possibly use a projection query with a grouping, but I know the blog module uses an ArchiveRecord to keep track of the numbers for performance.
