Gentlemen,

I've implemented an advanced sitemap, however on display the following xml is produced on the production site:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="true"?>
-<urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">-<url><loc>http://localhost:35320/</loc><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><lastmod>2014-01-22</lastmod><priority>0.5</priority></url>

What am I doing wrong?

The module probably uses the base url setting in the Orchard Dashboard under Settings -> General.

Change the base URL to the correct URL of the website.

It's great when you can have a quiet snigger to yourself about simple changes you're over looked.

Thanks David.

I would like to implement a sitemap-style menu in the footer of a Orchard Theme, since paulking shared that he implemented an advanced sitemap, I would be interested in how this was done and the implementation details. I am a seasoned developer but new to Orchards CMS (using version 1.8)

Thanks in advance,
K.E.

The advanced sitemap module reads from the Base URL setting from the admin panel in the Dashboard (General settings). This was set to http://local/portID. I simply changed the url to the actual registered url (i.e. http://someurl.com.au) and the sitemap xml mapping worked fine.

Hope this helps.

Hey paulking, did you just add a whole heap of custom routes with WebAdvanced.SiteMap, or did you use content items / sections / taxonomies etc., for when I use the module and enable content items, the generated maps only ever display two [at most] out of 20 or so of the aforementioned items? Just wondering what your setup is like? Thanks in advance, Dyr
