Logs flooded with "Second-level cache is enabled in a class, but no cache provider was selected"

I have deployed Orchard 1.7.1 to Azure using the instructions found here: http://docs.orchardproject.net/Documentation/Deploying-Orchard-to-Windows-Azure. All is well and good, but my logs are flooded with the message:

NHibernate.Cache.NoCacheProvider - Second-level cache is enabled in a class, but no cache provider was selected. Fake cache used.

Have I done something wrong, or is this to be expected?

Is there a cache provider that I have just forgotten to enable?

After a bit more investigation- this only appear to be happening when I run the command line

I'm also getting the same result after deploying an Orchard site to a new environment, just a standard Windows Server 2012 environment. I'll reply if I find a solution.
