Place Content Parts in different zones using placement

Hi,

I am trying to render a Page's Title Part into the BeforeMain zone instead of the Content zone by using the Placement.info file:
  <Match Path="/mypage">
    <Place Parts_Title="BeforeMain:1"/>
  </Match>
This removes the TitlePart from the Content Zone, but doesn't add it to the BeforeMain zone, thus not rendering the TitlePart at all. Can anyone shed some light om what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

You forgot the slash in front of the zone name: that's a global zone, isn't it?

Thanks for that, works like a charm now. I feel silly for not having found that one myself...

Hi,

I had the same issue and for what it's worth I didn't forget the slash in front of the zone name. That requirement was never communicated in the docs.

The example at http://docs.orchardproject.net/Documentation/Understanding-placement-info shows

<Place Parts_Tags_ShowTags="Header:after.7"/>

No slash,

So unless new users are supposed to have ESP, I recommend some time be spent on cleaning up and updating documentation and checking it's accuracy/completeness.

Food for thought,
