Hi to All!
MediaProcessing module is great! but the names it generates is too long...
For example: Media_Default_Publications_Articles_BodyImages_cherep-australopithecus-afarensis.jpeg
How can i change the logic of Image names generation?

Thanks in advance and sorry for bad English...

Calling out for any recommendation on changing this. The behavior could be customized but I think we need to change how it's done by default.
What could be a valid pattern ?
Do we need to keep a mention of the original filename (IMO yes) ?
Could we just encode (MD5) the path (IMO yes) ?
Should we also encode the resize pattern for dynamic resize shapes ?

definitely yes! It is important for SEO!

IMO YES!

Should we also encode the resize pattern for dynamic resize shapes ?

I think that there is no need to.... (If I understand the question)

pattern IMO:

folder names do not need! They do not perform any role on the page. Dimensions too...
I think:
file-name - for seo practice
md5 - for uniqueness

would be the best approach!

And with other Google do not like too much text on a page...
