Howdy all...

I'm about to kick off a pretty big project ( average usage is about 100,000 visitors a month ) I was wondering what the ETA on 1.7 was? That way I can determine the likely hood that my team should just start on the 1.x branch.. (we have about 10 weeks of development planned).

Either this week or next week, not long, we just need to be sure that all show stoppers are fixed and all other bugs are pushed to 1.7.1.

As a heads up, I am running on 1.x on my sites and they seem fine.

1.7 is reasonably stable and full of goodies you really want to use so I'd go with 1.x (and as a matter of fact, I'm using it too in production).

Is there any information available when version 1.7 will be released?

The navigation module and navigation/menu widget in 1.6 has issues with submenus and showing specific levels of the menu.
This is holding us back for publishing another site with orchard, because this is normally fixed in 1.7 (or should be).
Thanks jetski5822 for this information.
I hope it is this week.

I also have a few orchard sites in production and most of them have problems with the submenu or show a menu in another way than intended.

I hope all problems related to navigation/submenu/menu will be fixed in 1.7:
