Html Widget - Content Item Permissions

I want a Html Widget to be dislayed only to some users.

To do this I thought the Orchard.ContentPermissions would be the way to go. I've added the "Content Permissions" part to the Html Widget Content Type. No matter what kind of permissions I put on the widget it still displays.

When debugging the Orchard.ContentPermissions I can see that the restrictions are supposted to be done by extending the IAuthorizationServiceEventHandler. To me it seems that the code there is not beeing run for widgets.

(I've also done the same thing to restrict links to be displayed (Custom Links), and there everyting works like a charm. When debugging I can see that the method extending IAuthorizationServiceEventHandler is called.)

This is already fixed in the latest source.

By looking at the "work item details" in the issue details it seems that this issue is fixed in 1.7 only?

Is there an ETA on the release of 1.7?

Based on the current active issues for 1.7, I'd say any minute now. Or early next week. :)
