sure if you can help me, the ecommerce modules you mentioned are not very matured. I don't want to do any experiment as I am running short of time, so if you can help me in integrating nopCommerce with Orchard.

Especially if you are out of time, you should not attempt to integrate nop with Orchard. That approach is almost guaranteed to fail unless you keep both separated for all practical purposes.

What would be the best way to have Orchard as CMS and Nop Commerce as a cart?

Again, I think the best way is not to. You should pick one or the other, unless you like pain, or you're willing to keep them in completely separate applications.

Completely agree.

If you want to see how much to work

Orchard more dynamic (its own types over dynamic) - Nop - more classical
Orchard use NHibernate , Nop - Entity (different migration)
Orchard use Autofac over constructors , nop - more explicit factory
Orchard use explicit templates with dynamic filenames (shapes) , Nop - static , embeded to dll
and so on

THERE IS NOT UNIVERSAL MVC SOLUTION ( CMS + eCommerce) AT THE MOMENT !

If commerce more important for you, use Nop + CMS plugin
If CMS --------------------------------, use Orchard + Commerce module

@BertrandLeRoy Do you recommend Magelia with Orchard?
our key points are
1- Developer Productivity
2- Extensibility
3- Multi-Tenancy
4- Multi-Tier architecture

Thank you in advance

I forked Bertrand's module Nwazet Commerce which is great and develop and change it to my needs from there ... It is a bit difficult to set up if you are starting with Orchard, as you have to setup taxonomies for category navigation and make views for your theme so it displays as you need it to. But it supports Shopping cart (including minicart widget), Bundles, Attributes, Orders, Shipping, Promotions, Taxes, Referrals, Reports, Stripe payment, Tiered pricing ... Things like currencies, customer profiles or different payment providers you'd have to implement yourself.

We are in process of developing B2B platform using Orchard CMS. Somebody who has already integrated E-commerce with Orchard please answer following questions:-
  1. I have searched Orchard modules, I am not able to get a good e-commerce module
  2. Can we easily integrated E-commerce module with Orchard CMS?
  3. How do we get the source code? do you have any documentation related to this topic?
  4. Do we get any training on Skype or a video demonstration related to e-commerce integration?
  5. As discussed can we still integrate nopCommerce with Orchard?
Your input is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

  1. Define "good". Do you have a set of features that you need? I'm a little disappointed that you'd think Nwazet.Commerce is not good.
  2. Sure. Nwazet.Commerce does it.
  3. The source code of what? Documentation about what?
  4. If you pay someone to train you, then sure, that can probably be arranged.
  5. No. NopCommerce is not an Orchard module, it's its own application.
