I am learning the Shape Tracing. While I mouse-over and click any zone, I get a javascipt error:

'$value' is null or not an object

What I missed?

Thanks,
p.s. I am using Orchard 1.6 on IE8 as testing.

Does it repro with modern browsers?

As my test, it works normal on Google Chrome.

I tried the same site on IE10 and IE8. It does not work on both of them.

I am going to down grade from IE10 to IE9 for testing.

I wander if this kind of javascript error affects my production sites, because I cannot control clients' browser version.

Is any crossover browser concept included in Orchard, such as modernizr?

Is it possible to use NuGet to update all of dependencies, such as jquery and so on?

Thank you very much for advice.

Shape tracing should never be enabled on a production site, so if you follow that advice there is no way this can affect your customers.

The theme author is free to include any script he wishes, such as modernizr.

No, it is not possible to use NuGet to update dependencies. Orchard has its own update mechanism, that is built to a degree on NuGet, but also takes into account the specificities of the application. You can enable it from the Modules section of the admin.

Please file a bug with repro steps.

I am not sure how to " file a bug with repro steps".

I confirmed that the Shape Tracing causes Javascript error: "'$value' is null or not an object" on IE8 and IE10.

It works fine on IE9 and Chrome.

Go to http://orchard.codeplex.com/WorkItem/Create and provide as many details as you have on how to reproduce the problem.
