Is there an existing solution to avoid leaving a modified content in tiny editor

Some javascrpit to include ? Just an alert could be ok to avoid loosing its work.

After working a long time to adapt a page with this editor my finger pressed some key and all my work was lost.

No way to get it back, very frustrating (this is not first time it occurs).

Which editor could be better than tiny Editor AND running with 1.6 ?

I have seen several modules but they seems outdated ?
I have been using Telerik for years but it is license incompatible, CKEditor, other ?

Those alerts are a lame solution to that very real problem. Modern browsers have local storage, so instead, we should keep the state of forms, with an easy way to restore it. Please file a bug, I think we should look at this for 1.7.
