Who could explain how the versioning is done for Orchard Modules.

I have a permanent yellow message saying to upgrade the Comments module but when I click on upgrade it fails. 

After some verification the 3 tables are Ok with the new format, but Orchard believe they are on the old version format.

Where is the compared version values stored ? One in the module txt manifest but the other ?

What version of Orchard are you using?

1.6 + last update to last source code.

On one server on activating comments module  I have the warning+error updating (this server has been updated from 1.6 normal to last code using web deploy)

On the other, I directly web deployed the last source code, I created the SQL Azure DB directly with last comment DB versions from Sebastien.

On this server, no warning comments are ok when I activate.

To solve the pb, as I was not using comments, -tables created but totally empty-I copied the comments tables from the Ok server to the nok one....still the warning when I try to activate comments module.

The table that stores the migration numbers is Orchard_Framework_DataMigrationRecord.
