Current best anti-spam measure for comments

After fumbling with captcha for a while, I realized it does not work for comments currently.   Could anyone offer a tip on the best anti-spam practice for comments?

It does on the latest 1.x. I just installed it on one of my own web sites. Not guaranteed perfectly stable as this is unreleased 1.7 code but seems to be working ok so far.

This is great.  I will upgrade to 1.7 and add captcha as soon as 1.7 is released.

I have to warn you that it's really not fully-baked yet. For example, if you have a rule to send e-mail when comments get published, like I do, you'll get e-mail for spam comments. It's a bug.
