What does MVC4 support mean?

In that 1.6 is advertised to support the latest templates (including, i think, webapi) I'm wondering how things will change. Is a mvc4 project created by code gen? Are any Orchard.x modules based on v4?

My primary interest is going to be on membership provider. If choosing to work with a  SimpleMemebership-based provider, how do User-oriented (admin, password recovery, ect) operations look differently than current, native membership stuff?

There are a few nice things in the new Razor, WebAPI, and well, I'm not going to copy the list of new features from MVC here. Codegen as far as I know doesn't even put mvc3 today as the project type, so that it can be open on any VS without any prerequisites so nothing should change here.

So the root Web.Orchard in 1.6 is a MVC4 project with all the attendant features - including access to SimpleMemebership?
