Vote: 1 week candidacies, 1 week voting. This week is for candidates to declare themselves, next week will be voting. Adrian Noble will gather the secret votes by e-mail. He'll do a search on the voter's alias to verify he's ever posted on CodePlex and give them a random token. This will enable those voters to verify their vote on the public Google spreadsheet where we'll publish the votes. Like last time, each voter gets 5 votes that he can spend on one or several candidates (there are 5 seats). The dictator will be elected by the new committee.
Triage: 10 active bugs today. 26 proposed. 26 active after triage.
We have active status for 1.6 bugs that need additional input: 1885719002. Chime in if you have additional information. I need to fix 18961.
Orchard 1.7: possible features include... media, draftable widgets, workflow, content deployment, front-end editing: inline editing and widget management, widget pages, taxonomies replacing tags, themes: theme machine as dev recipe, a business theme with built-in carousel, blog theme (all configurable: pictures, colors and style override), easier versioning for relationships and drafts, mystery stuff about culture
We had a quick poll. Front-end editing got the most votes, followed by media. Then, content deployment, widget pages and taxonomies replacing tags. The committee wants: media (4), front-end editing (3), widget pages (1), new themes (1), draftable widgets (1), versioning (1), taxonomies (1). Some features are already done and need integrating (widget versioning, taxonomies as tags)
Next week, we try to go RC.
