Nuget Package Server

Hi Folks,

We are looking at providing a feed of our own module packages, for internal use only. Looking around there appears to be "Gallery Server", but when i tried to get that from the latest code it won't even build due to missing projects.

Question: Can I use the Nuget server provided by nuget (http://docs.nuget.org/docs/creating-packages/hosting-your-own-nuget-feeds) to host modules.

First attempt appears to be a "no" as I get an error

No property 'PackageType' exists in type 'NuGet.Server.DataServices.Package' at position 2.

I found a similar discussion in this thread, but honestly I could not quite understand whether there was a resolution there or not.

  • Is there a straightforward way to host a feed of my packages
  • Do I need to configure/extend the nuget package server on nuget.org if I want to host Orchard modules

cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul -- did you ever get an answer to your question? If you got a gallery server working, did you use NugetServer or try compiling OrchardServer? I'm spinning my wheels trying to get a gallery server working.

Thanks,
Shaun

we abandoned the approach entirely as Orchard and Nuget server are not compatible without a load of work.
