Hi,

I have several ebooks, each ebook have an type associated as Fantastic.

I would like to create a menu with all type.

The type are from an Enumeration Field. I think it's not the right behavior.

So I created a list : EbookType, with several content Items.

The content Items are EbookType. An EbookType is associated to Ebook.

I try to find a way to obtain a menu as https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B9NwsLBZK3LnRi03eE4wWElyMlE is it possible by the interface administration?

I don't find any way in the configuration.

Do you have any idea? any tails?

Best regards,

Alexandre

I have another idea:

Create several pages as fantastic.

After add a widget with an apply filter permitting to filter by ebooktype.

By using widget I can filter on custom field, not based on a Content Picker Field.

So it's not work. Except if I set an Ebook as Fantastic but using a custom field and put "Fantastic".

But I dont know how to customize the display for one specific page.

I mean page "Fantastic" and assign a specific widget to this one.

I continu to search.

Best regards,

Alexandre

Hi,

Finally I did like the previous proposal.

But is it possible to have any feedback about performance and maintenance of Orchard:

I mean, I need to categorize an ebook with two fields : a custom permitting to filter in the widget and a content item.

So I have twice the same information, one from a lookup table and one from a value.

How Orchard reacts when the ebook volume increases?

How is it possible to modify the value of a filter in database?

Is it possible to filter based on a content item and not from a custom? (it will be very nice).

Best regards,

Alexandre

Hi,

I'm back :)

I notice with the widget solution it's not right. I can define a number of max elements to display but in that case, I don't see any kind of "Pager".

So this solution isn't right.

I should realize two lists, one with only the fantastic and another with only roman.

If later I would like to combine the two lists in only one, it's not possible.

What is your opinion?

Best regards,

Alexandre
