Menus side by side

I'm just getting started with Orchard.

I have put two menu widgets inside the navigation zone. I use the Minty theme for the site. But the two menus get "crumpled up". I get two rows on top of each other instead of getting them side by side merged together as one menu.

I have been struggling with the layout files and stylesheet. But ain't able to figure it out.

Is there anyone out there that could shed some light on this issue. How to edit the files? Or have any other suggestions or solution to the problem?

Sounds to me this is because of the fact that widgets are wrapped inside <DIV> elements, which are by default block level elements. So one way to make them float next to eachother is applying some CSS to set their CSS float  property to "left". If you're using the theme machine, the zone wrapper will automatically clear the floats for you, so no need for clearfixing.
