When I import a XML data file Named Event.xml . I find a error below:

Oops. Something went wrong ... sorry

An unhandled exception has occurred and the request was terminated. Please refresh the page. If the error persists, go back

Step Event is not a supported import step.

System.InvalidOperationException: Step Event is not a supported import step. at Orchard.ImportExport.Services.ImportExportService.CheckRecipeSteps(Recipe recipe) at Orchard.ImportExport.Services.ImportExportService.Import(String recipeText) at Orchard.ImportExport.Controllers.AdminController.ImportPOST() at lambda_method(Closure , ControllerBase , Object[] ) at System.Web.Mvc.ReflectedActionDescriptor.Execute(ControllerContext controllerContext, IDictionary`2 parameters) at System.Web.Mvc.ControllerActionInvoker.InvokeActionMethod(ControllerContext controllerContext, ActionDescriptor actionDescriptor, IDictionary`2 parameters) at System.Web.Mvc.ControllerActionInvoker.<>c__DisplayClass15.<InvokeActionMethodWithFilters>b__12() at System.Web.Mvc.ControllerActionInvoker.InvokeActionMethodFilter(IActionFilter filter, ActionExecutingContext preContext, Func`1 continuation) at System.Web.Mvc.ControllerActionInvoker.InvokeActionMethodFilter(IActionFilter filter, ActionExecutingContext preContext, Func`1 continuation) at System.Web.Mvc.ControllerActionInvoker.InvokeActionMethodFilter(IActionFilter filter, ActionExecutingContext preContext, Func`1 continuation).

Please help me to resolve this.

First you should check the log file.

Then you might try it on the latest source branch, just to assess if the bug if still there.

Finally if you can still repro, more info about what the file contains and repro would be great, if possible opening a new bug in the issue tracker.

This doesn't look like an Orchard import file at all.

Are you sure you first exported something from Orchard just to see what the file format is ?
