I have a blog (lets call it myblog), and I created a layer (lets call it mybloglayer) for that blog.  I added widgets for the Archive and Tag Cloud (Vanderlay) to mybloglayer, expecting them to visible on all pages, ie, not just /myblog, but also:

These pages don't display the Archive and Tag Cloud widgets that ARE displayed on:

I would have presumed that the mybloglayer applied to all the pages of the blog, but clearly it doesn't.

The resulting navigation (ie, expecting the user to use the back button...) is not quite the navigation paradigm I want on my clients' sites.

1.  Can I make these widgets (or indeed, any widget) visible for all the views that comprise a blog?

2.  What layer do views such as /myblog/archive/2012/6 and /myblog/myfirstpost use?

What is the layer rules (for mybloglayer)?  If  you want the widget to show up on everything under /myblog it should look something like:

url ('/myblog*')

doing a layer rule of: url ('/myblog') will only display an item on /myblog

Many thanks @AdrianNoble

I guess I can still say I'm new to Orchard...  But I do feel quite thick.

Job sorted.
