I have a multi-tenant installation of Orchard with the host instance running on SQL Server Express.
I also have a number of tenants also using the same SQL Server Express instance, and I'm looking at migrating (new tenants at least) to MySQL.
I'm able to create tenants that use SQL Compact database (even though the main instance is using SQL Server Express), but I'd like to know if anyone has tried (or if it should be possible) to use the MySQL module to enable a tenant connected to a MySQL db,
while the main instance is still using SQL Server Express?
My concern is that the documentation for the MySQL module states that after installing, the App_Data directory should be cleared to allow setup to re-run. Can I install this module from the main instance, but not enable it? Thus leaving the main instance
running against SQL Server Express.
If so, can I then create a tenant and enable the MySQL module for that tenant only?
