Newbe Orchard question...

I have an xml file that is being FTP'd to my Orchard site.

What is the best way to transform and render my xml file as an html table?

I've had a look at some of the widget tutorials, but they seem to focus on persisting the data in the orchard database.

A widget example displaying an html table from an xml file would be much appreciated.

This is a very specific demand, so you're pretty much on your own here. The good news is that there isn't much that would be different about doing it in Orchard than it would be in a regular ASP.NET MVC application. You would just need to read the XML file, enumerate its nodes and create shapes from those.
